Description

Poul Henningsen designed the three-shade system back in 1925. His first lights using the system were designed in cooperation with Louis Poulsen for an exhibition in Paris. PH 3/2 Table is a member of the three-shade family which numbers 18 lights today, including three for outdoor use. Thus Poul did not just design a light, but an entire system – around a thousand different models have been produced over the years. The fixture is designed based on the reflective three-shade system, which directs the majority of the light downwards. The shades are made of mouth-blown opal three-layer glass, which is glossy on top and sandblasted matte on the underside, giving a soft, diffused light distribution. The stem and base fixtures come in either a high-lustre chrome-plated brass, or a black brass. Includes a 2.5 metre cord. Maximum 100 watt bulb.
