Colour CORDinate with Louis Poulsen's NEW series Toldbod
Louis Poulsen´s new Toldbod pendant series comes in the wonderful colours found in Scandinavia´s
nature. Profusion of flowers, berries, morning mist, and mackerel skies. It lends a fresh, Scandinavian
breath to any interior design. The small-sized Toldbod pendant is envisioned to be both decorative
and functional, ideal for placing the kitchen, over work areas or for illuminating focal points in a room.
Finishes include Black Berries (black/high-lustre), misty blue (pale blue/high-lustre), yellow blossom
(yellow/high-lustre), grey thunder (graphite/powder coated texture) and cloudy white
(white/high-lustre). Cords are not interchangeable.

within the flooring industry. Due to this demand we are introducing two new Lye colours to our all
ready vast range: Driftwood Lye and Antique Lye.
- The Product is waterbased and will be available in a white and a grey colour. Provides a natural
even weathered tone of the wood
- Requires subsequent treatment with oil, lacquer or soap

The award is aimed at young designers in the beginning of their career, who have already shown potential
and talent. A highly qualified jury will select the best design proposal.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION IS JUNE 16, 2010
The award includes three months residency at The Danish Art Workshops with own mini studio as well as
access to workshops and guidance. If accommodation is needed an apartment is available as well.
Furthermore the winner is granted with career coaching by OeO, two weeks exhibition at the Normann
Copenhagen Flagship Store in Copenhagen and DKK 50,000, sponsored by TA, the Danish Association of
Wood and Furniture Industries, to cover material costs.

Prime Time by Fredericia
Prime Time is an easy chair just made for sinking into and enjoying the best moments of the day.
The chair’s distinctive features are the curved seat and back that comfortably support the body
in a relaxed position. The chair allows numerous sitting options and is also large enough to seat an
adult and child simultaneously, which was the designer Tom Stepp's intention. Prime Time comes
with loose, reversible cushions and removable covers. The chair consists of a steam-bent shell in oak
with a soap treatment, and a swivel frame. The series also includes a matching table and footstool
in the same woods as the chair, with loose cushions.

Ferdinand - The Bull Hanger
Ferdinand is a bull growing up in the Spanish countryside. When the other bulls run and fight with
each other, he prefers to sit in the shade of a cork tree and smell the flowers. Ferdinand grows up
to be a big, strong bull nonetheless, and one day the men from the city come to the countryside
to pick the strongest, meanest bull for a bullfight. Just then, Ferdinand sits on a bee and the men
see an amazing display of furious jumping and kicking by the bull. Ferdinand is taken by the men
and finds himself in the center of a huge ring of people shouting with flowers thrown about
everywhere. The Matador arrives, but try as he might, he could not get Ferdinand to fight.
Ferdinand, as usual, preferred to just sit and smell the flowers. Ferdinand teaches us to
appreciate the simple things in life and to be ourselves.
Based on a 1938 classic story, by Munro Leaf & Robert Lawson
The design is a simplistic representation of a bull's head, to give the functionalities
of a coat hook (horns), clothes hanger (bullring) and fixing points (eyes).
